This piece originates from the Ashanti region in Ghana, where the brass pendant and pieces were handmade using the ingenious ‘Lost Wax’ process. This technique is used for casting brass and has been used for centuries by the Ashanti people. A traditional skill which has been passed down through many generations.
The beads are Tiger’s Eye; a semi-precious natural stone that ancient people used for protection. Metaphysically, Tiger’s Eye helps to energise and activate the solar plexus chakra — the energy centre associated with willpower, motivation and focus.
